Illustration: Somaliland & Puntland

Commissioned for the UN Joint Program on Local Governance and Decentralised Service, these illustrations of a Somali men and women speaking were for use in community resources and training. In this project two versions were created, with clothing in colours representative of Somaliland and Puntland for use in separate versions of the “Public Planning and Expenditure Management education modules” for the two regions. These illustrations were created with feedback from the community.

Synopsis

UNDP, as part of the Joint Programme for Local Government, is supporting the Government of Somalia through the Ministry of Interior and Federal Affairs to establish a Local Government Institute that will provide capacity development on core functions for local government in all the federal member states.
